Chess League
This is not just another class — it’s a commitment. The Chess Grande Chess League is our premier training ground built to support and develop our most serious players into competitive chess athletes. It’s where chess becomes a discipline, and players are held to the standard of performance.
Program Structure
- 2 sessions per week:
- Lesson Day: Focused on high-level, adaptive training. There is no fixed curriculum — every week is fresh, responding to the real needs of the group.
- Playing Day: Structured matches under strict tournament conditions. Once we reach critical mass, this will transition into a weekly FIDE-rated event.
- Private Coaching: Each athlete gets 3 one-on-one coaching sessions per term with a senior coach.
- Tournament Support: Select players will receive sponsorship to major competitions, including entry fee coverage and coach accompaniment. (Terms & conditions apply.)
Athlete Contract & Expectations
League participants must sign a performance contract. This includes:
- Mandatory monthly competition
- Participation in all major national events
- Completion of all assigned training & homework
- Consistent performance and discipline
Failure to meet expectations will result in dismissal from the League.
