Our Preschool Camps Comprises of Chess Tots Camp and Little Knights Camp. Chess Tots Camp is for 3-4 years old and 5-6 years old.
Chess Tots Camp
Our Chess Tots Camp is built around one core goal: make chess fun.
Over three days, we bring chess to life with storytelling, hands-on play, and movement-based activities — helping kids imagine, explore, and experience the game with their whole bodies, ensuring that every activity is age-appropriate, engaging, and developmentally enriching.
As one of the only chess companies working with preschools all over Singapore (Shaws Preschool, UWC Dover etc), we take the best of what we do in classrooms across the island and bring it into this camp — ensuring that every activity is age-appropriate, engaging, and developmentally enriching.
Camp Structure
For this age group, we offer two progressive levels:
- Chess Tots 1 – Designed for complete beginners. All new campers start here to build a strong, fun foundation.
- Chess Tots 2 – A continuation for kids who have completed Tots 1
Little Knights Camp
At Chess Grande, we’ve built a strong framework for early chess education — one that has produced some of the most competitive kindergarten players in Singapore. Our Little Knights Camp is designed to keep feeding that framework, giving children the perfect bridge between playful early exposure and serious chess learning.
Camp Structure
Little Knights has three progressive levels:
- Little Knights 1 – For students moving up from Chess Tots or starting formal chess for the first time.
- Little Knights 2 – A step up in challenge, introducing more complex ideas and longer gameplay.
- Little Knights 3 – Prepares children for our regular term programs and early tournament play.

Terms & Conditions
- Maximum Participants – 12
- All slots are given on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis or BY THE CLOSING DATE whichever comes first.
- Confirmation of registration is subject to full course fee payment.
- Course fees paid are non-refundable. Pro-rating of course fees is NOT allowed.
- Trainers assigned by Chess Grande may be subject to changes.
- There are no make-up lessons.
- Chess Grande reserves the right to cancel a session and provide a full refund if the minimum enrollment is not met. Refunds will be issued three working days prior to the scheduled session
