Little Knights Camps are for preschoolers aged 4-6 years old. Across three progressive levels, this camp nurtures young learners from their very first introduction to the chessboard through confidently playing complete games.
Over three days, our Little Knights Camp is designed to give children the perfect bridge between playful early exposure and serious chess learning.
As one of the only chess companies working with preschools all over Singapore (Shaws Preschool, UWC Dover etc), we take the best of what we do in classrooms across the island and bring it into this camp — ensuring that every activity is age-appropriate, engaging, and developmentally enriching.
Camp Structure
We offer three progressive levels:
- Little Knights 1 – Designed for complete beginners and where all new campers start. They will be introduced to piece movements and understanding the chessboard.
- Little Knights 2 – A continuation for kids who have completed Little Knights 1. This camp will teach young learners simple strategies and chess rules such as castling and simple opening principles.
- Little Knights 3 – For learners that are already familiar with movements and basic defensive skills. They will be introduced to checks, checkmates, and stalemates.

- Maximum Participants – 12
- All slots are given on a FIRST COME-FIRST SERVE basis or BY THE CLOSING DATE whichever comes first.
- Confirmation of registration is subject to full course fee payment.
- Course fees paid are non-refundable. Pro-rating of course fees is NOT allowed.
- Trainers assigned by Chess Grande may be subject to changes.
- There are no make-up lessons.
- Chess Grande reserves the right to cancel a session and provide a full refund if the minimum enrollment is not met. Refunds will be issued three working days prior to the scheduled session
