Chess Grande FIDE-rated rapid
A seven-round open rapid tournament for students aged 18 and below, with trophies, medals, and cash prizes.
This public tournament has one Open category and is FIDE-rated. Participants must be students aged 18 and below (born in 2008 or later) and must have a FIDE ID. Registration closes when the 60-player capacity is reached or at the published deadline, whichever comes first.

Parents and food
The organiser will not provide food or drinks. Participants are responsible for their own meals. Parents and guardians are not allowed inside the competition rooms; nearby options include Jade Hill Cafe Bar, Clover Coffee House, and the coffee shop directly in front of the building. Parking is first come, first served.

Rules and policies
FIDE Laws of Chess apply. Games use a 15-minute plus 10-second increment time control over seven Swiss rounds. Players must report results to the arbiter before resetting the board. Mobile phones and electronic devices are prohibited in the playing hall, and the Chief Arbiter’s decisions are final.
