2. Tournament Venue
How to get to the Tournament Venue?
- Upon arriving at 1207 Dover Road, proceed to the Guardhouse. Present your downloaded, spectator/ participant pass.
- Upon entry walk straight in through the walk way till our ushers in the information booth.
- The ushers will lead you to station 2 where another group of ushers will direct you towards the High school block.
- Right beside the heritage cafe, take the elevator to level 5.
- You have arrived at the examination hall/ UWC Chess Challenge Venue.
3. Security

Please ensure that all participants and spectators download this pass onto their mobile devices before entering the school premises. This will serve as their security pass for the duration of the event. It may be requested at any time for verification purposes and is required for entry into the school at the start of the event.

- Teams need to take responsibility for their valuables.

Team Managers, coaches, and teachers are to ensure players’ valuables and equipment are stored away safely and should not leave their bags unattended at all times
4. Food Options

We suggest that teams bring their food for the entirety of the tournament.

You can place orders using any online delivery platform and pick them up at the main guard house. However, please be aware that delivery riders are not permitted to deliver food to our school grounds.
5. Car Park

Parking is free on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please be informed that on that Saturday, March 9th, we will be running a Community Fair on campus, so expect large crowds and restricted parking throughout the day.

More parking space will be open at the bus bay area
6. Hydration

Water will be accessible in the grandstand areas. Players are kindly reminded to bring their own water bottles for refills as cups will not be provided. Additionally, water coolers are available around campus for refills.

Due to the hot weather, players are strongly encouraged to stay hydrated to prevent heat exhaustion.
7. Medical Treatment

There will be a medic on standby throughout the tournament.

Should a player need to be brought to the hospital for any treatment, the nearest hospital will be the National University Hospital (NUH) which is 1 km away.
